Very dangerous and stupid trend alert!

Please do not let your children watch these videos! Kids will try to do it at home.
And someone will be severely injured! Or end up on Spike TV'S 1000 Ways To Die! Viewer discretion is strongly advised!



Not since the stupidity of "planking", where a person lays flat down upon their tummy in the prone position. (Which some people naively refer to as a "sport".)  Have I ever seen such a stupid and dangerous trend sweeping America! I mean, give idiots a camera and they will find a way to hurt themselves in the name of receiving attention and recognition from strangers!

Come to think of it! There were "trends" that were worst than planking!

Tebowing- which is when a person imitates Patriots football player, Tim Tebow. By kneeling down and placing their face on their hand!

Then their was "owling"! And this is where a person sits on a banister, a railing etc. and imitates an owl!

And possibly the dumbest thing in history, the infamous Cinnamon challenge! Where people would place a teaspoon or more of cinnamon in their mouth and attempt to swallow it within the time limit of 1 minute!

With that said. What is the newest stupid trend to hit America? Sellotape Selfies!

You basically wrap your face in tape and take a picture! Now of course you can suffocate by doing something so incredibly dumb. However, it's the year 2014!  The year of dumb people with smart phones!.


This is even more scary than the no make up selfie craze!

Anyway.

 What is the origin? Where did Sellotape Selfies begin?

From what I read so far, some 21 year old girl  named Lizzie Durley, from Brighton University,
watched a movie titled, "Yes Man"  starring Jim Carrey.

The actor taped his face in a scene, so...

the dumbest trend to date was born! It takes no talent, and no originality. And you just may get a tiny sampling of fame from wrapping your face and head with clear packing tape, and you're sort of famous!

For the record, I hated the Harlem Shake! And, Twerk videos were the only, "Trend" I've ever supported!

Let's just hope that no one goes on an Ultra Trend Challenge! And dares to take a sellotape Selfie, with cinnamon in their mouth, while twerking and doing the Harlem Shake!.

They'll end up planking for the last time as they lay there suffocating to their death!

You may be asking yourself right now. What the fuck is ASMR?
I'll break it down to you like this.

So you see a video of cute girl right. And you click on it. And she is talking in her bedroom voice, sounding like a phone sex operator
crumbling paper, farting into a camera's microphone, recording herself taking a shit. Or putting a hair dryer next to hear camera to capture the "soothing" sound.

According to the Urban Dictionary website. This phenomenon is known as AMSR.

Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response (ASMR) is a physical sensation characterized by a pleasurable tingling that typically begins in the head and scalp, and often moves down the spine and through the limbs.

Also known as : AIHO (Attention induced head orgasm), AIE (Attention induced euphoria), or simply "head orgasms"/"head tingles".

So where did ASMR originate? Rap Music of course! Dr. Dre's music takes the credit for this phenomenon. The origin of ASMR is the 90's classic hit single. No Diggity, by Blackstreet featuring Dr. Dre and Queen Pen.

Dr. Dre. is the inventor of ASMR and he really should Trade Mark it immediately! Here is the lyric , from Dr. Dre's verse on No Diggity, which spawned the ASMR craze. Dr. Dre - "giving them eargasms with my mellow accent!"


Yes! I figured it out very easily because, this is one of my favorite lines a song erver! Thank you Dr. Dre for over priced head phones, lying about the release of Detox and spawning something as ridiculous as white folks from the insane asylum crumbling paper in front of a camera and being fooled into thinking that it's good for them to listen to it!

All ASMR is in a nutshell is.

White people with way too much money in their pockets, and way too much time on their hands, distracting themselves from reality and forking over money to each other for doing nothing. Man! White folks will buy anything and believe anything. No wonder they bought pet rock in droves.
