Empire needs to include Latinos accord to Latina.com writer Jesus Trivino! MEET Magazine says Ay caramba!

Jesus Trivino of Latina.com came to the not so clever conclusion that FOX's hit drama, Empire, starring Terrance Howard and Taraji P. Henson, needs more Latin representation.

In his article, Jesus cites many alleged inaccuracies of Empire and explains how he came up with this theory about how Latinos need roles in the fictional show because of their efforts in the creation and cultivation of Hip Hop.

He states he is a Latino from Brooklyn NY, who was raised in the 1980's, and was always a mega fan of Hip Hop music. He began his journalism career as a hip hop writer/editor where he interviewed musical acts such as 50 Cent, Jay Z, and Nas, just to name a few.

He then goes on to explain how in his career he'd deal with a very racially and culturally diverse group of individuals in the music entertainment business on a daily bases. He feels Hip Hop has always been multi cultural since the beginning. And he claims Latino's helped to make Hip Hip what it is today by contributing to it since the start of the genre. And for those reasons Latino's should be represented more often in the media.

I find all of this information to be interesting because I feel as if he's attempting to re-write history a bit. The truth is, Hip Hop did not receive major contributions at the beginning from anyone but so called blacks. Just because so called, "Latino's" were living in close proximity to so called, "Blacks" do to social economical and political reasons, does not make them the co creators of the music.

Just because they enjoyed listening to the music, danced to and sang along to the songs, does not mean they played any significant role in the creation of the new art form.

I'd personally liken their role in Hip Hop to that of a wife to a wealthy Sports star who was physically their during his rise to fame, success and fortune. However, she wasn't, as Drake would say, "taking shots with him in the gym". But rather cheering him on and reaping the benefits of the fruits of his labors! But still not the person who did any significant amount of the work, or played any significant role in the creation of the music!

The more I think about it, this article make me think Jesus is a super fan of Empire and just wants to gain Lee Daniels attention in hopes of getting extra work on the show! Then again he might be a culture vulture looking for a Hip Hop hand job. Who knows?

With that said, their is one part of the article that irks my nerves.

Jesus Trivino writes,

"It was created by black and Latino kids in the Bronx as a vehicle to give voice to the voiceless — us. I have endless discussions with one of my best friends, who is a proud Haitian Canadian and also runs the hip-hop section of iTunes about rap, black and Latin music and more. We both agree we’re still underrepresented in a lot of avenues and would love to see more black and brown collaborations."

Did you catch it? He said, "Black and Brown"!

But what does that mean? The words, "black" and "brown" are references to so called, "black people" and so called Latino's! Here's the issue with those descriptive words. So called black people are literally brown complected. Therefore, how in the world did Latinos end up being called brown?

The Caste system of course!

Thanks to the racist Caste system still being in use to this day, Latino's don't even realize the fact that most of them are Caucasian! They want their own culture, their own food, their own language, their own clothing, their own history, their own land, their own television stations, their own magazines, their own websites like Latina.com and more! And when that's not enough, they wanna say, "hey 'black' people, we're gonna take your shit now too". Because so many of them are economically challenged, just like so many so called blacks,  they have the option of attaching themselves to and leeching from so called blacks.

They get to play both sides of the coin! Kind of like Mulattoes!

The inconvenient truth is Latino's are the bastards of the Caucasian race.
They're genetically, "White" people, for the most part. However, thanks to something known as
the one drop rule, many Latino's are considered to be something other than
so called, "White". The truth is, many Latinos have more European ancestry
than the same Caucasians who are blocking them from claiming their European Ancestry.

Speaking of Europe, many Latino's and Latina's come from Spain.
From the year 711 until 1492, a group of brave men known as the Moors rules Spain.
Those noble men were so called "black" people. The Moors mated with the European, Spanish women. In fact, the Moors are the reason why Latino's call themselves, "Brown" to this day!

The majority of most Latino's genetics is European, so called, "White". And the one drop rule is myth that's used as a social construct. It has no scientific base. And it's in fact very racist.

Latino's are not "Brown" people. They are generally Caucasians, and mixed people, for the most part.

If I could speak directly with Mr. Trivino, I'd tell him we need to see more diverse representation on these Spanish Television channels! There's loads and loads of them! And all I've seen on them is very light skinned Hispanic people! No wonder Sammy Sosa bleached his skin! I mean, he's an "untouchable" right?

My point is, these Spanish speaking stations almost never show us the so called "Black Hispanics". Their are millions of them throughout South America, Europe and here in America. Many of them speak Spanish. A language created by the Moors. And many of these people are descendants of Moors. And these Moors were there from the beginning of the Reconquest. The beginning of Mr. Trivino's culture!

Therefore, what we need to see is more Moors on Spanish speaking television, in Spanish magazines and on Spanish speaking websites. Such as Latina.com

I didn't see any when I visited the site! Just saying!

But this is all my opinion and assessment!
