Princeton students claim Rapper Big Sean promotes "Rape Culture" via rap music! Protest his live concert performance!

"Princeton University students are mounting a protest against a performance by rapper Big Sean, who is scheduled to headline "Lawn Parties," an outdoor festival on campus in the Spring, citing the musician for "promoting rape culture and misogyny."
In a petition that asks the school's student government to rescind the invitation to the artist, junior Duncan Hosie and senior Rebecca Balsadua write, "in the future, [the undergraduate student government] should strive to bring non-misogynistic acts to campus." Hosie and Balsadua told the Daily Princetonian that close to 500 people have signed the petition.
Hosie said he saw a promotional video for the performance in which Big Sean rapped "stupid ass bitch," became outraged, and took to the Internet. “After I saw that video, I started researching Big Sean’s language and I found language that was both misogynistic and homophobic,” Hosie told the Princetonian. Balsadua said the university should have chosen another rapper.
“I’m sure every singer has a questionable song, but there are a significant amount of his songs that deal with this and I think there are a lot of other artists in the same genre even that would have been a better choice,” she said. Hmm.
The students said they were not responsible for fliers that popped up on campus urging students to protest the show. "'If she look good, she pay me in sex,'" read the fliers, quoting Big Sean's song Dance (A$$) (hopefully the Nicki Minaj remix), adding: "Want to take this down? Take down Big Sean."
Big Sean is just the latest celebrity to face the ire of student activists. Recent offenders of the sensibility of college students include comedian Bill Maher, Christine Lagarde, the head of the International Monetary Fund, and American Enterprise Institute fellow Ayaan Hirsi Ali, all of whom were the targets of protests after being picked to speak at commencement ceremonies.
Gumption aside, it does not seem as if this particular crusade will work. “The contracts are signed and it’s unrealistic to stop this from happening,” said Simon Wu, the chairman of the student government's social committee, in the Princetonian. Wu said the university may set up a panel at the Women's Center to discuss misogyny in lyrics. For anyone at the festival looking to avoid being affected by Big Sean's sexism, there's always unlimited alcohol.

Here's my opinion.
The article brought up a great point at the very end. Something I would have pointed out if the author did not mention it. And that's the fact that College students are notorious for partying hard, and getting drunk. Many of them are underage drinkers. But forget about the law! They're excused in the court of public opinion because this sort of behavior is summed up to merely being "part of the college experience". In addition to getting drunk, College students are also well known for their usage of dangerous drugs and when they aren't drunk or high, they're often flat out having orgies.
All of these vices hold extreme potential for disaster. Where as listening to a Big Sean song has no detrimental ramifications. Other than listening to a really shitty song of course! Now, I am not saying Big Sean is a bad rapper, he actually has loads of potential. The real issue with his music is that in my opinion he raps about dumb topics in dumb ways! Now don't get me wrong here, I have enjoyed a handful of his verses over the years! And despite me not being a big fan of Big Sean's music, I do believe the students who are fans of his should have the right to have him come perform at this concert.
Now, with that said, I want to draw your attention to an interesting part of this story.
This is all about morals, values and doing whats right? Right? All in the name of American women and homosexuals right? I mean, the whole point of them boycotting Mr. Sean is his lyrics negatively criticize women.
Because in America, you don't criticize women or homosexuals negatively unless you want to lose your shirt!
I find this pseudo "activism" to be hilarious!
While the subject of misogyny in Hip Hop has been ran into the grown, dug back up and ran over, and over and over again. I find the accusation of Big Sean promoting "rape culture" to be particularly alarming.
The term, "rape culture" is a made up terminology used by opportunistic misandrist as a way of criminalizing men and victimizing women for profit, sympathy and sometime just for sheer attention seeking purposes!

In America, rape is not normally considered to be an excellent thing. Except under 4 circumstances. #1 If a woman commits rape against a man or boy, it is often considered to be funny and is often dismissed as the male merely, "getting lucky". #2 If a Caucasian male commits rape and is a member of a fraternity in college, a member of the Freemasons etc.. his act or acts of rape may be dismissed to protect him because he, "has a future". I mean, we can't see our innocent white heroes get hurt now can we?
#3 If a heterosexual man is raped by another man in jail or prison, it is considered to be funny.
And the victim will surely become the butt of many jokes! Pun intended! Even if the subject of a man going to jail comes up in a conversation, it is customary in America to joke about not dropping the soap. And society as a whole often wishes gay on straight rape of a man who goes into the Prison Industrial Complex.
Speaking of Industrial Complex's, the #4 example of acceptable rape according to many Americans is when a member of the Military Industrial Complex commits an act of rape. I have heard people flat out defend these thugs raping a woman during war times because, "It's the spoils of war". In other words, soldiers often get a rape with impunity card. Lets take a look at what those thugs did in Abu Ghirab! They picked people up at check points and raped whole families, took as many videos and photos of their crimes as they pleased and flat out got away with it! Oh, and they committed acts of murder as well! But seeing the victims in the photos shown to the public were men, people wrote it off as merely being the military having fun!
If the photos of the victims shown to the public were women, their would have been charges for most of the people involved. Because of the irrefutable proof of crimes against humanity and war crimes which were committed. Now, if we only heard accusations with out proof of the crimes being committed, the rape with impunity card may have been applied! But hey who gives a shit about rape and murder victims when fake activists are crying over rap lyrics?
What I do know is this. American women's lives and safety are generally more valued than mens. And they say, women and children first! Yep! Even before the children! In fact, if the number of men who serve combat roles in war and the number of women who serve switch today, war would nearly cease to exist shortly afterward! The war and rape machine that is the United States Military would shut down! The thought of women dying at a higher rate than men would cause people to find other ways to deal with global conflict before ever letting the thought of a female massacre come into their minds!
Because America is over protective of women. So over protective that when men and boys are raped in actual real life it is considered to be humorous and becomes the topic of casual conversation. Whereas if a mere song lyric negatively criticizes a woman we get protest, fake activism and articles like this highlighting these peoples epic stupidity.
On a side note, random thought here! I will have to write a separate article about it.
But gay men are often extreme misogynist. But that topic is constantly glossed over.
Because like women, the military, white men in fraternities and service men and women, gay
men are a protected group in our society. Because they're all pawns in the depopulation plan.
But I'll talk about that in an other article
In my opinion, the students protesting Big Sean performing at the lawn parties concert at Princeton crosses the line of being hypocritical and proves these people to be downright delusional! They view themselves as being activist while I view them as being opportunistic attention whores. On the bright side, their arrogance will hopefully open up the discussion of real life rape, misogyny and misandry. Misandry is of course misogyny committed against men!
Something which is almost never talked about in America. But I will have to talk about that subject in detail another time! I'll just leave with this parting thought. The word misandry is such a hidden subject that the electronic spell checking software built into websites does not even recognize the word! The software attempts to correct the spelling because it's not listed in the lengthy list of words.
In other words, even computers are silent against the plight heterosexual American men face every single day!
