A$AP Yams Over Dosed on Codeine! Bragged about being "Bodeine Brazy) on Twitter before death! Rapper DEAD!

(My original story from January 2015 - right after he died)
http://meetmagazine.blogspot.com/2015/01/rapper-aap-yams-dead-rip-overdosed-on.html

Remember Steven Rodriguez BKA A$ap Yams? He was the founder of the rap group A$AP Mob. You know, Achieve $trive & Always Prosper? The groups lead singer and lover of t shirts that
resemble dresses, Better Known As "A$ap Rocky", bitched, moaned and complained about people claiming Yams died of a drug overdose!  He pretended we didn't know what we were talking about! Well, we accept your apology in advance Rocky.

Yam$ cause of death has finally been revealed two months after he passed away!

Before I get to the news story, check out the last message Yam$ posted on twitter!

He only had 2 wods to say on January 16, 2015. He said,

"BODEINE BRAZY"

I had to scratch my head at first. I had no idea of what "Bodeine" nor "Brazy" meant.
I was never a lame guy, therefore I never got into the craze of speaking a bunch
of stupid slang in a feeble attempt to sound pseudo cool.
Speaking this way always sounded idiotic to me.

Anyway! I figured out what he was saying. He was saying "codeine crazy", with letter
b's in place of the letter c.

I'm not sure of why he said it like this. It could have been a typographical error.
However, I do know that sometimes members of the Bloods gang replace
words that begin with c with letter b's.

It sounds ridiculous hearing someone speak this way.
But it apparently means a big deal to them!

But it does sound like he was high! So high he was crazy!

Anyway! The following news story comes from "The Guardian".

The Guardian writes,
"A$AP Yams’s death was caused by an accidental drug overdose, according to New York City’s chief medical examiner. The mastermind behind the A$AP Mob, who helped A$AP Rocky in his rise to fame, died on 18 January, aged 26.
Now the New York Times reports that his death was caused by acute mixed drug intoxication. Both opiates and benzodiazepine were found in his system. The death was ruled an accident.
Yams, whose real name was Steven Rodriguez, operated behind the scenes in A$AP Mob, but played a crucial role in A$AP Rocky’s stardom. A 2013 profile in the New York Times observed: “Much of what you hear in Rocky — a fully assimilated take on hip-hop styles from across the country and from across time periods — can be traced back to Yams.”
The hip-hop world was shocked by the death, with stars including the Weeknd, Drake, Mac Miller and Azealia Banks paying tribute. “ASAP YAMS should be remembered as a leader, an innovator and most importantly as an important part of NYC youth culture,” Banks wrote on Twitter."
Here's my opinion.

Don't do drugs. If you do happen to do them, go seek help immediately! Go to rehab!
And don't brag about using drugs on the internet either.

Dude is dead at age 26. And his death was completely avoidable.
This is just sad all around.

But that's  my opinion!
