American Apparel Casting Call! No Instagram HOES or THOTS! Real models online! Fashion Line letter controversy!

American Apparel Casting Call! No Instagram HOES or THOTS! Real models online! Fashion Line letter controversy!

It seems like American Apparel and controversy go hand to hand!

Their have been reports of the company firing people over their looks for example. And then their was a time where the company "unknowingly" hired 1,800 employees who were not authorized to work in American.

And of course their ultra controversial CEO, Dov Charney was accused of forcing an employee to preform oral sex on him, and he allegedly kept another worker as his sex slave.

When news broke the company had a controversial email floating around, I wasn't surprised in the least bit! You see, the company put out a casting call looking for models and it  the letter contained some very controversial words. (See document below)

So, where did the letter come from? The Director of the Photogenics modeling agency reportedly wrote it! Phira Luon did not intend for the letter to get out and claims it was only meant for a few eyes to see! It was allegedly a "joke"! Phira said the following,

"The comment made at the end was made in jest with models whom i have a personal relationship with and did not reflect the views, or directives by the client. i apologize to all those who were offended or affected by my comments, as it was not my intention."

So, what do you think? Is Phira lying and caught red handed? Are you offended?
Do you think the letter is funny? Do you wear American Apparel clothing?
Do you support the brand, do you like the company?
What do you think about the companies CEO?

Let me know what you think about it all below!
