Kanye West So Help Me God album cover VS. Christian Mistress "Agony & Opium" CD Art - Stolen? Or coincidence?

Kanye West posted a picture of his, "So Help Me God" album cover (on right) to twitter recently and it's been causing all sorts of controversy! First, people felt the Symbolism on the artsy CD cover may bare reference to the, "Illuminati".

Then Kanye's beautiful wife Kim Kardashian, re-posted the image on her Instagram page, and explained the art work was in fact the 13th Century symbol for the Virgin Mary!

Now, Pitchfork.com wrote an article informing fans of the fact that a band named, "Christian Mistress" already used the same symbol on their album titled "Agony & Opium" in 2010!

A lot of people on the internet are falsely claiming Kanye, "stole" the idea!
In reality, neither the Rock band or the Rapper created the symbol.
However, they both used it, and used it well! Both album covers look great!

So Kudos to both musical acts! There's enough of the virgin and her symbol to share!
